Today I’ve featured two classic Disney films, both full of some incredibly heart-warming tracks.
From Snow White and the Seven Dwarves I have chosen ‘A Smile and a Song’. This song was originally released in 1937 along with the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. This film was Disney’s first release so it will always remain special to me – hence why I had to feature its soundtrack!
It was hard to choose through so many great songs; ‘Heigh-Ho’ & ‘Whistle While You Work’ are classics but ‘A Smile and a Song’ has to be my favourite.
The scene which the music video takes place in is just as lovable. This joyous tune is sung by Snow White in a woodlands surrounded by cute animals; a Disney paradise!

Peter Pan is another Disney film that had to be selected, this film is full of Disney magic – the flight to Never Land was always my favorite scene as a child, I mean who wouldn’t want to be able to fly?!
The song ‘You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!’ fits wonderfully in the film, it comes on just when we meet Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and when the children start to fly. This song marks the point at which all the magic starts to begin, so it’s definitely one to remember.
Checkout the video below; extracted from the orgininal 1953 Peter Pan film. I love the old school animation style and the overall happiness of the clip which accompanies the song.
