Today’s Disney post is a little different to normal, but I know you’ll love this tune!

‘The Trouble’ is a great example of how well modern styles can be brought into old Disney, as I also discovered with my #MellowMonday post.

I’ve been following Pogo‘s work for some time now and I’ve decided that Disney week would be the perfect time to share it with you guys (Matt’s also previously shared ‘Boo Bass‘ by Pogo)!

His production style is pretty uncommon: he uses snippets of various films which he mixes up and edits into unique songs. I’m a huge fan of everything he does though I can’t imagine how long each one must take to create!

The thing I love the most about his music technique is being able to recognise certain clips form the films, it’s almost as if you’re watching it.

I really like how Pogo & Jeesh managed to keep the themes and ideas of the oriningal Disney films (Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin are all featured in this track); the calmness and simplicity of the song expresses a happiness and innocence which is depicted through the movies too.
