David Ford is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter who found his first successes as part of Eastbourne-based band Easyworld. I saw Easyworld support Toploader back in 2002 and that’s where my admiration for David Ford’s talents began.

Since then, Easyworld released two full-length albums and split, subsequently leading to Ford releasing a whole handful of albums and EPs.

This particular track is taken from his first solo album, ‘I Sincerely Apologise For All The Trouble I’ve Caused’ and it’s called, ‘State Of The Union’.

The music video for this song is sensational too – it was shot in one take, with the use of a loop machine, and see’s Ford playing all 12 of the instruments used in the song! He’s one hell of a talented fella!
