I discovered Lisa Goe‘s ‘Still In Love’ on Spotify and instantly, the moment I heard this beautifully melodic song, I fell in love with it. The haunting falsetto wails of the chorus are sheer perfection with a country twang to them; but it’s so much more than just country music! It’s like dream-pop-country’s lovechild!
Based out in Nashville, Lisa Goe appears to be somewhat of a mystery – she’s put our a few EPs but is yet to strike the mainstream, however I doubt it’ll be long, with a voice and songwriting talent, like hers.
I am thrilled to see that there is more music by her and will, without a doubt, be checking out the rest of her stuff!
