Charlie Simpson has had several incarnations in the music industry, first there was Busted, then Fightstar and finally his solo career.

Most recently, Charlie has released his third solo album, Little Hands. One of the songs taken from the album, is this song, Walking With The San’, which was taken from the television programme, Singing In The Rainforest, which saw Simpson collaborate with the San Bush People.

I love the sounds of the San people used throughout this song as it captures something magical and warm within the song and the video below shows some of that processes – well worth a watch.

It was also announced, after many years of Simpson saying he would never rejoin, that he has agreed to reignite the sensation that were Busted alongside fellow, founding bandmates James Bourne and Matt Willis, who are currently on tour and gearing up for a new album release. Exciting things to come, I’m sure.

Are you a Charlie Simpson fan? Have you already heard this son? Are you excited about the upcoming Busted release? Please share your #MellowMonday song choice with us, either in a comment below or on our social media.

Have a great week!
