Alex Vargas hails from Denmark originally, but moved to the UK at the age of 17, to pursue his career in music. He originally set up the band Vagabond, but since the band came to an end in 2010, has gone on his own solo venture.

The singer offers a strong, soulful sound to his voice and is currently gearing up to release his debut album, in early 2017.

Vargas said that ‘Higher Love’ is a track about those moments in life where turmoil can be created by the routines and predictability of every day life and that they plant seeds of insecurity and further explore these concepts throughout the crescendos of the song.

It’s powerful and hard-hitting in a soulful sense. I strongly urge you to check this out.
