Having seen Meadowlark supporting Aquilo at Patterns in Brighton (check out our review here), over the weekend, I couldn’t post anything else for this week’s #MellowMonday!

The song is mellow, adult pop at its best – it has elements of calm electronica with essences of modern, contemporary pop, making for an intriguing and beautiful track. The guitar sounds combined with synths and distorted, high-pitched vocals are pure perfection, accompanied by stunningly simplistic, yet powerful vocals; it’s got a feel of Ellie Goulding about it.

The video only adds to the interest of the song – not only is it a wholly captivating track, but the video is shot in one take, adding another dimension to the experience of this release.
