The All-American Rejects are an amazing pop punk quartet from Oklahoma, who formed 20 years ago, this year. Having taken some time away and been rather quiet since their last full-length album, Kids In The Street, was released, back in 2012; the band are finally ready to make a return with a double A-side single, ‘Sweat’ and ‘Close Your Eyes’.
The first track, ‘Sweat’, is a real banger – it’s funky yet grungy in all the right places with Tyson‘s growly vocals weaving their way perfectly throughout.
Man it’s good to have these guys back – I can’t wait for their upcoming full-length album, due out in the Autumn.
The band have also been teasing a video for the track, with snippets being released online but we’ll update you when the full thing is released.
What are your thoughts of this band’s latest single? Got a #FeelGoodFriday track to recommend us? Please leave your thoughts or song suggestions in a comment or via social media.

I love the All-American Rejects, so like you, I’m also happy to hear new music from them. I hadn’t heard these new songs yet, but I instantly liked them both. “Close Your Eyes” is lovely, and a pleasant departure from their typical style. It has a bit of a The 1975 vibe.
