#FeelGoodFriday: DNCE – ‘Kissing Strangers’ featuring Nicki Minaj

This is the first new music from DNCE since their debut album in 2016 and it features guest vocals from serial collaborator, Nicki Minaj.

The song has sun-kissed guitar riffs and bass licks throughout; it’s a summery track oozing with gang vocals and beautiful harmonies. The lyrics are saucy and the artwork is 60s in style; reinforcing that it’s a track all about free love. Surely this is the signs of a new album on the horizon?!

No official video has been released yet but undoubtedly one will emerge soon and I’m sure it’ll be fun-filled if the band’s previous releases are anything to go by.

*UPDATE* The official video has now been released and it’s just as tongue-in-cheek, fun-filled and raunchy as I expected. I’m pleased to see Nicki Minaj featured in the video too – not just stylised in the background, like sometimes happens to featured artists and rappers.

What are your thoughts of the band’s new direction? Got any #FeelGoodFriday tunes for us to check out? Please leave your thoughts or song suggestions in a comment or hit us up via our social media.

Hey Muzik Speakerz!

March 2016 has been another great month and saw us turn 1 year old!

We did an interview with Lucy Spraggan and a review of her show, when she performed in Brighton and did a series of special birthday playlists for each themed day; #MellowMonday#Two4Tunesday#WildCardWednesday#ThrowbackThursday and #FeelGoodFriday.

We’ve had a blast and been so proud to have hit the milestone of our first birthday and coming up next month, should be more interviews and reviews (in particular, Patent Pending…again! But this time, in person; which guarantees to be a massive laugh!) as well as our usual posts to bring you music for each of our themed days.

We hope that you have enjoyed this month’s songs and you can find both the Spotify and YouTube playlists below!

As always, please keep sharing our posts and remember to share your song choices with us by commenting on our posts or talking to us on Twitter and Facebook.

DNCE – ‘Cake By The Ocean’

DNCE are an American pop-rock band conceived by Joe Jonas and long-term Jonas Brothers drummer Jack Lawless. The pair had the idea for the project when living together but put it on hold due to busy schedules.

With the addition of Cole Whittle and JinJoo Lee, the project was complete and their debut EP, Swaay, was released.

Their debut single, Cake By The Ocean, has earned the group some due success but has been gathering recognition in the UK, slowly. It is now being played on radio here and hopefully will see the quartet break into the UK market more.

Excited for the album? Want to hear more? We do!

Syn Cole – ‘The Daze’ featuring Madame Buttons

Syn Cole (aka Rene Pais) is an Estonian DJ known for his singles to date, including ‘Miami 82’Feel Good’, Bright Lights’ and It’s You’.

His most recent release however, is ‘The Daze’ featuring Madame Buttons and it is one heck of a song – it’s a fusion of EDM and pop in the perfect way – it’s just anthemic to the extreme! #cantgetenoughofthis

Nuff said!

What do you think? Good song? Not a fan? Let us know your thoughts! Have you heard Syn Cole’s other releases? What do you think?
