Heidi-hi fellow Speakerz!

What a month! Just this past week, we made our 200th post and we had a special week of re-themed days, including #MentalMonday (Placebo), #TimelessTuesday (Queen), #OneHitWondersday (Daisy Dares You), #ThrillingThursday (Fickle Friends) and #FlashbackFriday (Sugababes).

Sadly, one or two of our interviews are taking slightly longer than we had hoped, but we have a gig review or two in store for you, very shortly!

We hope you have enjoyed our song choices this month and you can find the Spotify and YouTube playlists below!

Please keep sharing our posts and sharing songs with us!

#OneHitWondersday: Daisy Dares You – ‘Number One Enemy’

Daisy Dares You (aka Daisy Coburn) was set for stardom back in 2010 with this debut single, ‘Number One Enemy’. Guest vocals were added by Chipmunk and the video was themed like Alice in Wonderland.

An album (called Rush) was ready to be released and a follow-up single, ‘Rosie’, however she was subsequently dropped before their release, without much of a reason why.

The song reached Number 13 in the UK charts and damn this song packs a punch! It may well be teen pop rock as you like, but it’s catchy as hell and fun to play out loud and sing at the top of your lungs!

You can thank me later for this one!

Have a wonderful #OneHitWondersday everybody! Please share your one-hit-wonder songs in a comment below or via our Twitter or Facebook, using the #OneHitWondersday hash tag.
