#Two4Tunesday: John Newman – ‘Come and Get It’ & Stefano Pain & Maury Lobina – ‘Take Me Back’

#Two4Tunesday this week features new music from John Newman and a track by Stefano Pain & Maury Lobina.

John Newman is back! After a very successful debut album, Tribute, and being a featured collaborator, Newman has well and truly captured the public’s attention.

He is now set to release his second album and this particular song, ‘Come and Get It’ is the first song to be released from this upcoming album.

The song’s got a very modern pop/funk/soul vibe to it and the accompanying music video was also created by Mr Newman himself, based on some of his own life events.

This song is perfectly uplifting and the perfect start to a #Two4Tunesday!

‘Come and Get It’ is available on iTunes right now – https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/come-and-get-it/id997770595?i=997770626

Maury Lobina (one third of Eiffel 65) has teamed up with Stefano Pain to create this euro-dance number, featuring vocals from Jonny Rose.

There’s not much to say about this song as it’s a collaboration between two DJs, one previously being in Eiffel 65, and the song has only ever been a one-off collaboration between the duo.

Not much to say now except, enjoy!

‘Take Me Back’ is available to download from on iTunes right now – https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/take-me-back-feat.-jonny-rose/id930396738?i=930396760

#ThrowbackThursday: Eiffel 65 – ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’

Eiffel 65 Banner

What an incredible track this was!

Released back in September 1999 the track went straight to Number 1 in the UK and stayed there for 3 weeks.

I particularly remember this song as it was released around the time of my birthday, not long after I’d started at my secondary school; it holds a lot of memories, as well as being an awesome track!

Eiffel 65 are a three-piece, Italian music group consisting of Jeffrey Jey, Gabry Ponte and Maurizio Lobina and after the success of their first single, went on to release their first album, Europop – they had a total of three albums before separating, but have since reformed to tour some of their hits, around the world.
