Steve Aoki is known for being an incredible musician, DJ and producer, for having worked with countless incredible artists and for his unique brand of EDM music. Darren Criss is known for his acting and singing talents in Glee and for portraying Andrew Cunanan in the second series of American Crime Story. But, together they have created this incredibly catchy, upbeat and all-round feel-good version of Dave Matthews Band‘s classic track, ‘Crash Into Me’.
23 years after the original release of the song, the pair have created a rather unlikely cover that just works so well! They have beautifully blended real instruments (acoustic guitar) with some incredible dance elements, Darren Criss‘ smooth, pop vocals plus one hell of sick drop, to turn this ballad into an EDM powerhouse of a track that is just all-out, unapologetic fun.
It certainly isn’t an obvious choice of cover but the pair have made a song that I just can’t get enough of – put it on, turn it up and just enjoy every moment of it.
Check out the quirky, yet rather funny video (below) too – the animation is pretty hilarious!
What are your thoughts of this EDM cover of Dave Matthews Band’s classic track? Do you have a #FeelGoodFriday track to recommend us? Please leave your thoughts or song suggestions in a comment or via social media.

Since releasing the Fifty Shades Of Grey inspired ‘Love Me Like You Do‘, Ellie Goulding is back with this incredibly fresh and interesting offering, ‘On My Mind’.
Miss Goulding is preparing to release her third album, ‘Delirium’, on 6th November and this looks to be her first new release from the record.
It’s such a great move for her and sees her taking on a new sound and it really suits her. It’s definitely got me excited to hear the rest of the album! A music video for the track was just released yesterday and it’s steamy as anything…go Ellie!
‘On My Mind’ is available for download from iTunes right now – https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/on-my-mind/id1040134609?i=1040134775

You probably already know of Pentatonix, as they’re probably one of the biggest a cappella groups on the internet! The quintet are widely known for their unique covers of pop songs, like ‘Daft Punk’ and ‘Radioactive’, but this release sees them trying their hand at original material…and what an amazing step this is for them!
‘Can’t Sleep Love’ (featuring Tink) is so catchy and their harmonies are just perfection; very reminiscent of Justin Timberlake’s and have quite a vintage feel to them. If this song is anything to go by, their upcoming, originals album should be sensational!

Today we’re introducing a new track from Years & Years (see our previous post about their song, ‘King‘) and dance duo, Blonde.
Years & Years appear to be going from strength-to-strength at the moment. The electronica threesome from London, scored a UK Number 1 earlier in the year with their single ‘King‘ and are now gearing up to release their follow-up single, ‘Shine’, on 5th July 2015 ahead of their debut album ‘Communion‘.
I am expecting big things from their debut release and truly think this band are set to conquer the UK over the next few months…bring it on!
‘Shine’ is due for release on 5th July 2015 and can be pre-ordered on iTunes now – https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/shine-single/id991385169

Our second song today is by Blonde; this deep house production duo is made up of Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield and they’re taking the charts by storm.
In 2014, the pair released their single, ‘I Loved You’ featuring Melissa Steel and have since released this brand new track (‘All Cried Out’) featuring ex-Glee actor Alex Newell (who recently lent his vocals to Clean Bandit’s ‘Stronger‘).
This tune reeks of summer and should be enjoyed on full volume with the car windows down on a journey to the beach! ENJOY! 🙂
‘All Cried Out’ can be downloaded from iTunes this very moment – https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/all-cried-out-feat.-alex-newell/id965352869?i=965352870
