Shura has been featured by us a couple of times before, with her songs, ‘2Shy‘ and ‘Touch‘. This time she’s back with a fun, pop-fuelled, feel-good anthem called ‘What’s It Gonna Be?’
Her latest release is gearing up to the release of her debut album, Nothing’s Real, in July. It’s an incredibly ’80s sounding dance-pop record, which showcases her songwriting talents beautifully.
I defy anyone not to love this track; please make sure you share the link and spread the Shura love!
What do you think of Shura? Are you as excited about her debut album release as we are? What songs would you recommend us for #FeelGoodFriday? Leave us a comment below or talk to use via our social media accounts.
Mura Masa is a 19-year-old producer from Guernsey, who is known for his electronic music, particularly his interest in trap music.
To date, Alex Crossan (aka Mura Masa) has had just two singles; his first release featured Shura and his second is this, ‘What If I Go?’
This song has only just been released about a week ago, but has been featured on several Spotify playlists. No official video has been released yet, but we’ll keep you updated on that.
A great song to lift those midweek blues!
What do you think of this track? Are you already aware of Mura Masa? What would your song choice be for this #WildCardWednesday? Share your thoughts and song choices with us please.

Shura is an English singer, songwriter and producer popular for her electropop/synthpop/indietronica sound.
‘Touch’ was actually released back in 2014 but since her popularity has been rapidly growing she has re-released the song, with the addition of America hip hop artist, Talib Kweli.
The video has been re-worked too – the original video featured a whole range of couples, straight, lesbian and gay, kissing but this newest video is animated and the style is rather intriguing and looks traditionally animated.
This relaxing song is the perfect way to calmly start off the week.
What do you think of this re-release with the addition of Talib Kweli? Have you got a #MellowMonday track for us? Please post it in a comment below and share this post on your social media accounts.
It’s time for another of our monthly playlists! As usual, we’re bringing you both a YouTube and Spotify playlist of all of this month’s featured songs!
Muzik Speaks has been alive and kicking for just 3 months now and it’s still growing fast! During this month, we’ve reached 100 followers on Twitter, and nearly have 100 Facebook likes. We also did our first interview with the awesome Ali Tabatabaee from Zebrahead – he and Ben, both from the band, were so amazing to work with!
We hope you enjoy this month’s songs, all taken from our posts throughout May 2015 – Our apologies if some of the tracks are missing from the Spotify playlist – some may not have been released yet and some may have been removed from Spotify by the artist/band.
Note: You can view the whole YouTube playlist by using the dropdown menu at the top corner of the video, or skip a song using the ‘next’ button.

Welcome to the last week of May! I thought I’d kick the week off with this easy-listening electronica track by Aleksandra Denton, better known as Shura.
Shura has previously worked with Hiatus on several tracks but more recently, signed with Polydor Records, with her debut album due out later this year.
2Shy is very easy-going and quite trippy in terms of its sound – it has a very indie-pop/electronica sound to it and is the perfect, gentle start to the week!
Are you enjoying this track? Is it the calm start to the week that you need? Please share it with your friends 🙂
