Brighton Pride is fast approaching and to celebrate, we have created our first ever, Brighton Pride Weekender playlist dedicated to one of the city’s biggest annual events to promote equality and diversity with the aim to eliminate discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

This playlist has been lovingly crafted to include a variety of tracks, by the artists performing at Brighton Pride 2018, as well as some other great anthems!

Having just released her latest single, ‘Happy Human‘ (click the link to watch the video – if you haven’t heard/watched it yet, you must!), I had the privilege of talking to the stunningly talented singer, Leah McFall.

During our interview, Leah discussed her upcoming mini-album, ‘INK’, her plans for the approaching INK Tour (BUY TICKETS HERE), the best film she’s seen lately and she even shared some of her most embarrassing moments, including Chris Brown and a can of Coke! She also took the time to answer a whole host of fans’ questions too…It’s all in the video below!

Sia is back again with another incredible new track, just months after her album, This Is Acting and it’s not taken from it. Could this be another new album in the making?

The song is passionate, powerful and pure pop…it’s everything a contemporary pop song should be and more!

The addition of Kendrick Lamar‘s verse, further adds to the dynamics to the song and of course, as we’ve come to expect, the music video is a masterpiece; a marvel to behold!

Busted – ‘Coming Home’

After 12 years away from the band, Busted are finally back with their new single, ‘Coming Home’, taken from their upcoming, third album, Night Driver.

The song sounds a lot more mature than their previous, pop rock antics, with its synth-heavy and subtle tones, however it still has the iconic vocals and feel to the band. I’m intrigued to hear what the rest of their new album will hold…will there be some of their fun-filled, guitar-heavy, power-pop anthems? Or will they have carried the maturity of this song, throughout the album?

Either way, we sure are excited to have the band back together and kickin’ it like they never went away! Welcome back guys!

G’day fellow Speakerz!

So, February has been just as incredible as January was! We’ve done another interview, with singer-songwriter David Ford and been to review The Japanese House‘s gig at The Haunt in Brighton as well as shared a whole heap of songs.

It’s only been a couple of weeks since Sia released her latest album, ‘This Is Acting’ but upon first listen, ‘Cheap Thrills’ became an instant favourite of mine.

However, within a matter of days of the album’s release, the single has been released and given a face lift, with the addition of Sean Paul‘s vocals.

This song is catchy and got oodles of energy to it. Although no official video has been released yet, the lyric video (see below) is actually quite funny…especially the awkward looks on their faces before the music starts; hilarious!

Sia has well and truly established herself as a talented songstress now, penning hits for a whole host of big names, but she is also one hell of a performer herself!

She has had massive hits recently with ‘Chandelier’, ‘Elastic Heart’ and ‘Alive’ but before she became as big as she is today, ‘Breathe Me’ was released. This ballad is huge and filled with every ounce of emotion – something Sia is brilliant at delivering!

This passionate tune is perfection with her emotionally vulnerable vocals, cracking with melancholy.

I feel like this is one of the best starts to a Monday you could ask for – have a great week everyone!
